Sleigh Ride Info for 2011- 2012 Season

Horsedrawn sleigh rides last approximately 20-25 minutes. The sleigh is two seats and is suitable for 2 to 3 riders at once (call if you have a larger group and we may be able to make arrangements for a larger sleigh) Afterwards, go in the lobby and sit in front of the fireplace sipping hot cocoa and munching on freshly popped popcorn. This is a very enjoyable experience!

Call the Inn for pricing and to get your name put on the call list. When conditions are right for the sleigh rides we will call or email you to set up a reservation. 330-893-3600.

Horseback Riding Season April thru November (weather permitting)

Join us in an exciting outdoor adventure with one of our many friendly horses. We take experienced and inexperienced riders, so you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy this unique activity. A guided horseback trail ride through a piece of Amish Country’s beautiful terrain will make your trip quite a memorable one. Read on for details.

• Trail is guided, western style riding.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

• Ride last approximately 40-45 minutes. One hour is  usually allowed to incorporate saddle fitting, instructional, etc…

• Rides begin at age 7, sorry, no riders under the age of 7 years of age. Sorry but No exceptions.

• Sorry but NO double riding

• There is a 225# weight limit for ALL riders. This is an insurance requirement.

• Reservations required Saturday and Sunday. All other days reservations are suggested.

• Rides go out  Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat from 10 am to 4 pm. Sundays by appointment only from 12 to 4 pm. Closed on Tuesdays.

Although we allow the horses to raom freely on our grounds, unless you are a guest of the Guggisberg Swiss Inn or Amish Country Riding Stable, we ask that you do not approach the horses. This is a guest only activity.
