Horseback Riding at The Guggisberg Swiss Inn Horses

If there is a better way to experience Amish Country than on a horseback ride, we haven’t found it!

Horseback Riding Eric Guggisberg, an experienced horseman, conducts guided horseback rides for guests and non-guests of Guggisberg Swiss Inn. The Amish Country Riding Stables is located on the property at Guggisberg Swiss Inn, so if you’re a guest, you’re already here!

In the winter, as the weather permits, we even offer sleigh rides! What a perfect part of your relaxing (or romantic) getaway!

After your sleigh ride you can warm yourself up with a cup of hot chocolate and popcorn in front of the fireplace!

Additional information and restrictions:

Weight limit for horse back riding is 225 pounds.
Ages 7 years of age and up.
Sorry, no double riding.
Two to five riders at one time. Advanced reservations recommended but not required.
